Rescues MUST use fosters to obtain and keep dogs until they are adopted. Fosters in
central Florida are in critically short supply. That’s why we’re working so hard to Find
Fosters FAST! If you’re not ready to adopt or worried about costs, fostering is the perfect solution. Rescues cover all expenses — food, vet care, supplies — so all you have to do is love
and care for a dog in need. It’s easy, meaningful, and life-changing for both of you.
We’re all about giving pets in need the best foster care possible. Our awesome volunteers are on a mission to save those furry friends who deserve a second chance at life.

To become a foster, you must first complete our application process and meet the necessary requirements. Contact us to learn more.
Fostering is providing temporary care for a dog in need.
We do not have a shelter building - all of our animals are cared for by foster families until they find a forever new home. We are looking for committed foster homes that will continue to help us take in dogs to give them a chance.
We do our best to select animals that meet your preferences. The application forms ask a number of questions which are designed to help us determine the age, size and other conditions you are willing to work with. Please be as honest and as detailed as possible on your Foster Friend Registry!
Yes!!! We are always searching for foster homes - no matter how many people seem to sign on, often our intake requests exceed the number of foster homes in our rescue. We are ALWAYS in need of foster homes especially for larger breed dogs.
